- Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to
provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets'
complete health care needs.
Surgical Services:
Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the
performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures.
- Anesthesia: We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide that
extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high risk patients.
Using the most modern equipment (ECG, pulse oximetry, blood pressure
monitoring), the patient's vital signs are monitored during all
anesthetic procedures.
- Radiology Services:
Our on-site, brand new digital X-ray equipment provides
high quality radiographs to aid in the diagnosis of many
disorders.
- Ultrasound: We offer ultrasound imaging on-site, and can make arrangements
with an area colleague for echocardiography and endoscopy.
- NEW Laser Therapy:
We are using a new, class IV therapeutic laser for treatment of many chronic joint and skin issues. Please ask whether our laser might help provide additional relief for your pet!
- Oncology: We offer medical oncology services in the form of chemotherapy
for our cancer patients, after consultation with board-certified
oncologists.
- Laboratory: Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry,
hematology, serology, endocrinology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize
commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and
consultations.
- Pharmacy: We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins,
shampoos and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your
pet.
- Dentistry: Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing and
tooth extractions.
- Individualized Flea Control Programs: We develop programs for the specific
needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We
will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in
your yard and on your pet.
- Dietary Counseling:
We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional
needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth,
weight maintenance and performance.
- Behavioral Counseling: We can provide advice regarding the
correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying,
scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.
- Emergency Care:
In the event of an emergency during our normal office
hours, please call ahead. We will help you assess the situation on the
phone, and will tell how to transport your pet to our practice. For after-hours and
weekend emergencies, please contact Littleton Area Veterinary Emergency Service
at 59 W. Main Street right here in Littleton. They are fully
staffed with veterinarians and technicians through the night. They can be reached at
603-444-5533 between the hours of 5:00 PM and 8:00 AM on weeknights, and 24 hours daily on weekends and holidays. Please call them for assistance; they will help you determine if
emergency services are required, and can give you directions to their clinic.
