  • Behavioral Counseling: We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.

  • Emergency Care: In the event of an emergency during our normal office hours, please call ahead. We will help you assess the situation on the phone, and will tell how to transport your pet to our practice. We participate in an emergency group co-op which includes six other practices in northern Vermont and New Hampshire. This service is available to the clients of our practice anytime our office is closed. If you have an emergency with your pet after normal office hours, please call (800)286-3346, or (541)385-5005. This number will reach our answering service, where the operator will take your information and then page the doctor on call. The doctor will return your call as soon as possible. Each doctor can only see emergencies at his or her own clinic, so please be prepared to travel to a neighboring practice if Dr. Winter is not on call.
